Ok, so what do you do if you know one of your regular tournament goers are cheating (I watched this guy MULTIPLE TIMES), but don't wanna say anything on the grounds of being a jerk. Should I just have other people watch him and maybe make someone meaner call him on it, or just ignore it and make sure he knows I'm watching him so he won't? In my area we're all pretty close friends so its a hard decision. Any nice ways of being able to help would be nice, thanks for your time!

Say something. The scare should be enough to keep it from happening too much more.

You don't have to say it in front of everyone, just pull him aside and tell him if you're really good friends.

just call him on it when he does it. point it out to him and his opponent. don't be a coward. it's a game for fun and everyone has to follow the rules. if you know a lot of rules and see something being played wrong speak up instead of holding your tongue

if was a friend he wouldn't cheat. call him out in front of everyone and embarrass him. And if he doesn't stop, the solution involves your fist in his face (assuming you're bigger than him!)

If not your fist, then you get steel tipped boats and kick him in the nuts. Cheaters don't deserve to procreate.

He gets one warning then I grab a judge in general.

I'd prefer to keep it on the down-low but that stuff is uncalled for and I wouldn't stand for it. If he was a really good friend I would talk to him before the game and say that I saw it and that he shouldn't be doing it. Then tell him what the consequences will be if I saw him doing it again. If that isn't enough to make him stop then there are bigger issues at play.

I play in tourneys and enjoy them very much. When I play a buddy I'm a little dissappointed because one of us must lose. I could not see and of my true friends cheating against me. That is intolerable.

The best thing to do, is to call a judge over, and tell them what you believe you saw. This is usually better than coming out right away, in case you were wrong. It is important to say something however, becaue any cheating in a game is cheating everyone who plays out of a good experience.

Oh, and I'm more of a "painful flaying of skin" fan. The illegal punishments are always the best ones.

Not a bad mindset. I'll have to remember to bring a gold club with me to my next tourney. Either that or a low-yield tazer (more frothing that way).

well maybe the cheating was accidental (if there is such a thing) i used to miscount the endurance totals because of forgetting to add the stun damage, so there.

maybe he doesn't know that what he's doing is against the rules, so try informing him.
