South florida players are very depressed. come in ude i will tell u why.
Dear ude, (thought it would be appropriate.)
i've played vs since day one in hopes of some day being able to play in pcq. but it just so happens that u guys forgot about a huge city when u guys scheduled the event. u forgot about miami,ft. lauderdale. u did it here in south florida one time and abandoned us. i wasnt able to attend the tournament in ft lauderdale because my ride fell through but i was prepared for the next time it came down here but... nothing. ive been loyal to ude and all its games ive played just about all of the tcgs u guys put out. i actually gave up 2 games just to play vs. i played in one pcq but it was in chicago when i was on vacation. please dont tell me i have to wait another year to play in another pcq i did good i go tto the top 2 and split the prize because i was not going to be able to make the pro circuit in indianapolis. so i gave it up. i would like u guys to maybe respond with any thing that might bring my hopes up because im tired of playing my same friends all the time i need competition. lol. well if u guys need a spot to host th etournament im so despered i will let u guysd host it in my house. lol the closes pcq is i dont kno how many hundreds of miles away. at least u guys could bring it back to ft. lauderdale again plz. i kno im not the only one feeling this way.
UDe requires that a venue be able to accomodate 200 people for a PCQ. In Orlando, Jeff @ Unity Entertainment ca do this at the drop of a hat because that is a big part f his business.
Here in South Florida, there is only one store that can or is likely to finance a PCQ and that is Past Present Future in WPB. Now the only way that they are going to do that is if I do it and I jsut don't see that happening right now.
I have been toying with the idea of working out the details, but if anyone else wants to step up to the plate, i'd be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
I'm pretty certain that a store doesn't have to be able to hold more than 70 or so people to be able to hold a PCQ. I don't even think that there has been a PCQ with more than 50 people in it.
was that the place they held it at in the begining? n e ways i understand it would be alot of work but i also believe it would be beneficial for the store itself i look at it like a win win. last time i went to the pcq i alone spent $40 and i was 1 out of i dont know how many. i just believe that were missing out on this great games rewards. its not only fun and addicting but very rewarding. also there alot of people down here who arent able to make the margate/gainesville events. so i dont kno i hope u (big bear) try to work out. many south floridians would be very greatful even though wpb is not really near where i live in dade-county but it would be an improvement and much closer than gainesville and margate.
