So in an interview a month or so back, one of the UDE folks said that the Spidey set would have "a card that interacts with the resource row". I've read over the list, but nothing really jumped out at me as something that interacted with the resource row in any kind of new way.
Yeah, you already have enough of a disadvantage with putting characters face down, that, if they put some horrible hate like this in there to punish the already punished, then I can see some real angry people speaking up.
Now, if it was just equipment, then that would be a little bit of F4 hate, and I would be more than happy to see that.
I think they should never ever create cards that can give one player a ressource advantage. Only exception I can think of:
Dream Card:
Blabla
Plot Twist (1)
Play at the beginning of the first players build phase.
You opponent chooses: You KO a ressource to spend 2 additional ressource points this turn. OR You draw 2 cards and all opponents draw 1 card.
Well, I didn't mean as broken as it sounded, but I heard it was something that put your opponent at a disadvantage for playing characters as resources.
There is already a disadvantage at playing a character into your support row: useless ressource
I'm so happy there are no "lands" (like in magic) in VS. 1/3 of your deck is boring stuff (lands). I should try to play magic VS style to see if is more fun =) At least your not having the problem of not drawing any land...
mental magic is you play off a stack of random cards, and you play cards by the casting cost, not naming the same card that is on the actual card.
(IE if you had a card that costs W and it was a Tundra Wolves, you cannot play it as a Tundra Wolves, but you could play it as a Savanah Lion or Belenish Hero or something just as stupid..)
