What is the difference between playing Forced Allegiance and another team-up type card (like Marvel Team-Up for example)? Does FA allow you to convert as many different affiliations as you need to one? I am just confused on the benefits of FA over some of the other team-up options.
Also, can FA allow you to recruit someone with Loyalty you would not normally be able to rcruit?
Forced Allegiance only applies to those characters that are on the field in the in-play zone. It does nothing to those cards in the hand, KO pile or Deck. It could be used to make a splash character easier to deal with since it allows the character to reinforce/be reinforced as well as take part in team attacks.
However, Forced Allegiance will not allow you to recruit a Loyalty based character if that character does not have the team-affiliation of what Forced Allegiance is forcing everyone else to be. Just because they would be the same affiliation when they hit the field doesn't fit the requirements for Loyalty.
Ah, ok, that makes more sense. Now I understand a little bit better.
Does Forced Allegiance convert new characters as they come into play (assuming they come into play legally, ie. no Loyalty requirement)? Or do you have to play a new copy of FA once new characters hit the field?
