Well, we all know that VS_Master beat En-Kur with Teen Titans. Now my question is, after knowing that VS_Master won the 10k tourney in Texas, if you don't currently play Titans, will you switch to it?
Well before this Teen Titans won the DragonCon 10K event in Atlanta (I think it was DragonCon). So this isn't the first time Teen Titans has had success. For myself have been playing it since DOR came out.
I've played Titans since DC origins came out. Just on a wim and after destorying all my friends who picked each of the other starters (gotham, league, arkham) i stuck with it.
it was an awesome change after being destoried by Doom Brothherhood and The F-4 with my stupid X-men deck...
Since then, they've gone back to their marvel origins decks, and the titans still whip them from time to time.
I've been playing TT for a while now (before it was declared as one of the best decks out there) and I still find it really fun to play with. Funny thing is that my main influence to try this was the Titans TV show :p
Alright. Cool. I for one am going to play Teen Titans. Not because of the 10k tourney, but because of all the good feedback about Teen Titans I have recieved.
After playing against both, I really think that Brave and the Bold is stronger than Titans. The addition of Fizzle and Dynamic Duo, with Alfred as a search makes them formidable.

And that's the reason I play TT as my first "real" deck (I mean...my first deck other than starter...), and TT seems to be easy to play anyway (well...just in my view...)
I don't know, I like to try out more "faction" (not sure what they're call...LOL), so yeah, I'm not limited to TT
TT definetly seems to be the 'it' deck now with it surviving through a Marvel set still being top tier and with another DC set on the way I only see them getting better.
Off-topic comment: I frankly don't feel like trading for all of the cards to get for the deck (even though I could) as there in such high demand. So I think I'll just stick with the deck I've been playing since the game started , FF. Like WBO said, even though there are some power decks out there, anything can win, that's definetly what sets this game apart from others.
Current win notwithstanding, I still don't especially feel that Titans is necessarily an amazing choice at present, as I have found that it doesn't have a great matchup against Common Enemy. Clearly in this instance it didn't prove to be a problem, and I would be interested to hear what elements of Rob's deck improved the matchup so significantly. Foiled and Finishing Move seem instrumental in making the matchup more favourable, but to me it still seems like a bold choice.
I played FF until DC came out. I then toyed with some different decks, and finally decided on the brave and the bold. After playing it for a few months, I got sick of missing the team up I needed. One game it would be the plot twist, next game I couldn't get the character I needed. It's a very good deck, but not as consistent as a single team deck. Common enemy can pull it off, because Boris can activate right away. The one turn wait on alfred kills it.
So, I went to the titans. It is extremely consistent, and a lot of fun to play. It has a lot of different tricks that can work with it. As far as the matchup against CE. Foileds, Kabooms, and finishing moves kill that deck. If I draw a foiled or kaboom during the first 4 turns, I usually win. Even finishing move is going to give you a good chance to win. Titans will have the extra characters on the field while CE usually won't. It's actually a good match-up against the right titans deck.
Congratulations, and you should play what you have fun with. I try a lot of different decks, and I play the ones that are the most fun. If you're going to test and play a lot, then you should have fun with it. Besides, superman will end the titans, i think. All that team attacking doesn't do much good when the opponent doesn't lose any stun endurance.
Teen Titans seems to be a formidable opponet from all of the information Iv'e gathered. IMO, the titans will continue their rage for at least another set, and hopefully after that. Although for any deck type, you will need to know what kind of decks pumble it, so you can get the cards to hopefully prevent that from happening. Would anyone know the deck types that pumble Teen Titans?
