NEVER use a 300 point Sentinel as your 300 point team! The 100 point version is the only one worth it's points.
R Sentinel 100
V Nebula 76
R Calypso 29
V Doc Ock 66
V Paramedic 12

Total- 300
Use the Sentinel to capture the most dangerous figure on the board. Use Nebula's double Incapacitate w/ 10 range to prevent any rescue attempts. Use the Moliods w/ Nebula's MasterMind. Nebula and Doc Ock keep everyone occupied are wear them down while the Sentinel finishes the capture. Repeat as needed. Pick your captures carefully.
Or try a 100 point sentinal
exp white queen
r black panter
r pyro and/or r blizzard
exp black cat
v aim medic
some other stuff, r mandroid armor, v scarlet witch,a perplexer or someone with incap to make sure that either the one standing infront of your sentinal doesn't escape ..or that their ain't enough oppenents in range able to take an action to try to release your captive
but basicly use white queen to mindcontrol someone to walk into base to base contact with your sentinal, try to caputure, then put up a barrier infront of you sentinal, next turn, release your captive, ue the hydra bonus for a better to hit with whitequeen (from the medic and/or black cat) and the prob control for your sentinal and if you outwit supersenses (or phasing/plasticity) you should have a decent chance to capture someone if they come close enough
I just played against a 300pt Sentinel team (thanks, CHENG).
100 pt Sentinel was teamed with:
- Black Panter for Outwit
- Con Artist for Perplex
- V Doc Ock for tying up my characters and Perplex
- R Invisible Girl who was carried by the Sentinel for better defense value
- AIM Medic
- 2 Ninjas (including LE Elektra)
Toughest match I've ever faced. Of course, having R Kang as the centerpiece didn't help...
Ouch! I take it that Kang was captured right off the bat? That can be rough, but it's one of the advantages of having a Sentinel. The centerpiece is usually the first figure captured, and then your original strategy is shot to hell.
Here is a possibility...
Sentinel Mark I (100pt)
Morgan LeFay (triple MC)
R Invisble Girl (because the Sentinel is ALWAYS a target)
LE George Tarlton (cheapest barrier in game to block LoF)
E Paramedic (to heal Morgan)
E Quicksilver (tie-up secondary attacker)
You can use Quicksilver because he is unaffiliated (stupid, but go with it... lol)
Without TK this loses some of the speed and you have to be very careful with placement. MC people to walk up to the Sentinel, he captures and then George throws up a barrier.
