What do you guys think about the new cards for old teams? Helpful, inefficent, what?

I'm not terribly pleased with the Titans, but LoA got a nice boost with Merlyn and Demon's Head. I think Arkham is still terrible and I hope to see Jason Todd as the staple 4 drop for GK.

Thoughts?

Oh, and I think both of the F5 cards are terrible. Just terrible.

You're totally wrong about Arkham. They are awesome. The Fearsone Five an be good teamed up. And who the heck is merlyn?

Uh, what? Did you read the card list? Arkham got 3 characters, all of which are terrible. They don't have the stall ability to even get to turn 8 (and not like Joker is that great of an 8 drop anywho). Blockbuster is a far inferior version of Rhino. And Maxie Zeus will barely be able to help any discards (possibly 1 if played with Blockbuster). Smiles, Everyone! isn't bad at all, it does work well with the team, but it serves a similar function to Kidnapping.

Fearsome 5 has 2 new characters. Both stink.

And Merlyn is the new 4 drop for LoA.

Are you referencing just the DOR set? 'Cause if you are, you missed the *hopeful* point of this thread.

i think he meant who is merlyn as in the character. He's a member of the League of Assassins (Demonfang) whose specialty is archery. helps alot huh... but there really isn't much else to say.

But he was in Identity crisis if you want a recent comic hes been in.

I agree on the inmates thing. I don´t think that you´ll need to run 4 Smiles everyone in an Inmate deck, but 2 or 3 would be nice.
It was GK that got the cards this time. 4 Awesome new cards to use (BTW Jason is a 3 drop). I think Batgirl is really super as the new 4 drop and Detective work helps a lot.
The little spoiler is also a nice 2 drop, now you can run 3 robins in the deck!

Evil

All the teams got a decent boost, GK getting the most. TT follows a close second cuz of speedy messing up boris and alfred. LOA third cuz of Merlyn and last Arkham cuz all they got is hand control which isn't even that stellar. GK has more possibilities with teamups and now more ways to grab cards.

loa definetly got the biggest boost in my opinion.
