If I were to determine a new archtypes playability how many and what deck types hsould i playtest agains to determine it's playability? I know CE and Titans and X-Stall are important to test agiasnt. what others should I test against.
Whatever happens to be in your local scene, I would say. There's an article on here about an auto-robotic Brotherhood deck. While somewhat dated, it can be a good template for other auto-robotic decks.
play whatever you come across. There's also Sentinel Curve to play and probably a weenie rush deck or two.
Philem is right about playing whatever is big in your locall scene but you do want to play a variety to get a feel for your deck's weaknesses and advantages.
Look how far a Rigged Elections deck got this year in one event. No one anticipated it in their builds. Also, learn to play your deck. A good pilot beats a good deck anyday
Most likely
FF/newGods there is the Burn version using Mark Torch Strech and Lightray and Cosmic Rays. This is Helped by Prof Fulliled.
Then there is Turbo Cars with SuperCycle and Fantastia Car that plays like FF beats but the guys are huge and they have Astro force and Clobberin Time ( These guys are really Big)
Then there is Doom/NG-
The one i have seen that i like most is Takion Bomb. This with Sourse and Metron. This Deck can have alot of control and if its get to the Recovery Phase and they use Takion its most likely Over.
MadTitanFan: Using so many pumps in a Overload ridden meta is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. All that reads is "Please Overload me? Please?" or "I suck" either way its all the same, you are such a noob. Seriously, who in their right mind would try to depend on a Gamma Bomb at a time where most people are running Brave and the Bold. You are just plain smart. Seriously if you want to post things at least make them good. Ideas that are just this stupid dont need to be posted.

Depends entirely on your local meta.
In the shop in Luton, there is only a single player who uses large number of pumps in his BBH deck. THerefore both Unmasked and Overload have been relegated to the background.
In other words, taking any one random online persons opinion and treating it as fact is 'the dumbest thing i have ever heard'
If you are going to build a new type of deck, you need to see how it will do against other archtypes, and that is in my opinion more important that pitting it against a specific deck. (for instance, you want to know how it does against a control deck, that does not mean you have to play it against a Doom control deck. if you see what I mean)
Mostly, just play as much as you can against as many different opponents. Sometimes a combination that isn't considered top tier will surprise and then beat the BS out of you
