18 people showed up at Pastimes in Niles for the Sealed, 46 for the Constructed.

I left before the top 8 finished. Anyone there knows who won and what decks made up the top 8? I saw a lot of CE, FF, Curve Sents and B&B all day long.

I was there For a while and also didnt see the Final for the Constucted. I had to leave to get something to eat. It was a lot of fun however. I got the stuff i needed for like 4 decks i was trying to finish, if only people had Clobberin Times for trade.

I wasn't there but I talked to Slack who made the final two and split it. He played TTs. I think he said something like 2 BNB, 1 CE, and the rest I'm not sure. Nothing to surprising. However, I was surprised that there was only 1 TT that made the final 8. I was interested to see who actually won this one as well.

How late did it go?

I play @ Top Deck Cards in Downers Grove on Fridays. It's really convenient.

I've been at Pastimes several times. I like it but I don't make it there a lot.

I may have been the only Titans player in the room--I saw one or two B&B but no other pure Titans. The other finalist was TNB. Top 8 was Titans, 2 TNB, 2 CE, 2 Curve Sents and SF. We left at about 11.30.

There were 27 tables by my count, so that'd be 54 players actually (there were some problems with table assignments). Not sure though.

I saw a lot of FF/CE in swiss. I didn't see straight Titans at all until I met WarWolf in the semi's (those were some weird games). I had a lot of fun and it was great meeting Mark, Chad, Raymond, and plenty of others. I'll definitely be there for the MK sneak.

I liked your article on vsuniverse, reinventing the wheel... I'm curious, what did you play? And how well did you do this time?

I don't think so cause I played 2 B&B decks and 1 Titans deck and I don't think I played u (or did I?). Anyways, I got 4 and 4 pretty terrible considering I made top 8 last time.:)

Anthony played Curved Sentinels. I know because it kicked my butt :)

Dair Grant split in the finals of the sealed (also from my store Gamerz in Indy--props to Dair) with a Rasheed, I think. The 27 tables was because they reserved the first four for the t8 of the Limited. 23 tables = 46 players.

On Titans--I didn't see anyone else playing it. But 46 players is a lot of players and I'm sure I didn't see everyone.

damn good job for dair. he beat me in sealed when we played earlier in the rounds. it was -17 to -16. i made top 8 in sealed. We drafted and then i had to leave before i can play. that sucked

I shouldn't have dropped for constructed. 1-2 would have still had a chance with only 10 people in it...

But, of course, I was pretty jazzed on running Rigged Elections :)

What's Dair doing still playing sealed PCQs? He's supposed to be working on his constructed skills :P

Are you, Roe, Dair, Sammy, Jeremy, and Vince going to be up at the PCQ in Indy Feb 5th Mark? I was thinking about driving down.
