at the risk of sounding stupid here....i havent followed the sentinels at all....but ive been wanting to make curve since WoS came out......so can someone please tell me why they use the underground sentinel base in there deck
the only reason i can think of is getting them out of a situation that is bad by moving a mark V to there row???

turn eight hits
you have 2 Mark V (1 Boosted)
Master Mold
Bastion

you play Tri sent with boost
You play Mark V from hand with Mold
you play Mark V from Resource from USB

you got three major characters in one turn.

or wait a turn and play DR light with boost :)

I don't personally like this card,however some play it for the following reasons.If you play a heavy ammount of character cards if you don't have a location or plot twist to place in your resource row you may put a Sentinel down instead.Some put down several this way and bring them out late game in a game winning attempt.Again,I don't personally like it,but thats why others use it.
