I thought it would be a pretty cool to have a game amongst those who like to create cards. Basically I give a name or phrase or some sort of title. Anyone who wants to play uses the given title to create any card they wish from characters, plot twists, equipment, and locations. At the end of the week (Fridays or Saturdays) I'll gather the submissions and put up a poll for anyone to vote to see who wins.
P.S.- you dont need to actually create the card with graphics, but if you may if you desire.
Burnt Offerings
Threshold-5 Picture of Batman holding Jason Todd after he was killed by the Joker
Game Text: Target Batman Ally character you control gets +7 attack and -4 defense.
Flavor Text: "You will pay for this Joker."
The -4 defense is too show Batman's revenege against the Joker, so you lose some Defense.
Burnt Offerings
Plot Twist
Threshold Cost: 6
KO any number of characters you control. If you do, draw two cards for each character KOed in this way.
"A gift with a heavy price."
Name: Burnt Offerings
Type: Plot Twist
Threshold: 4
Image: Darkseid standing on a group of scorched Parademons.
Icons: Ongoing
Effect: Ongoing: KO 3 or more characters you control with a total cost of at least 5 -> Gain one resource point during your next build phase. Use this power only once per turn, and only during your build phase.
I like what I'm seeing so far. Would you guys be willing to keep playing after this week's contest? I think it'sinteresting to see what other people would think of next.
Burnt Offering
Plot Twist: 4
Image: Dr. Strange meditating mid-air with a multi-colored fire on the ground in front of him and an open spell book floating next to him.
As an additional cost to play this card discard a character card named Dr. Strange from your hand.
KO a resource you control, if you do search your deck for a plot twist, reveal it to your opponent and put it face down in your resource row.
"I am a sorcerer supreme, a man of knowledge; While you are only a man of learning."
i'm too late but my burnt offering would be as such:
Ongoing Plot twist
image: calypso holding her hands high above her head her eyes glowing red. fire coming from the bottom of the shot reaching up.
discard a plot twist, pay x life~~> reveal the top x cards of your deck. Choose a plot twist and put it into your hand. Play this ability only once a turn and only if you control an underworld character

I would assume X is equal to the amount of life you paid. I wouldn't mind this, but it can be as bad as Dangerous Experiment, but a little safer.
Howard the Duck
Master of Quack Fu
Cost: 4
6/6
Whenever Howard the Duck attacks or is attacked by a character with a higher cost, you may reveal a face down resource you control. If you do and if the resource was a character, replace that resource. Howard the Duck gets +X/+X, where X is equal to the cost of the KOed character.
Howard the Duck
Master of Quack-Fu
Marvel Knights (I think he had a MK book at one point)
Picture of Howard in the karate kid uniform
8 Drop
5/6
Howard the duck costs 1 less for every resource you control.
Howard the duck cannot be stunned by a character with cost greater then 4.
Whenever Howard the Duck is stunned, All players place a card from their hand face down in their resource rows, then KO Howard the duck.
Flavor text- Once you go quack, you never go back
So his first playable turn is on turn 4, which he costs 4.
4=4
5=3
6=2
7=1
8=0
So if someone wanted to give up alot of early endurace and board advantage, they can really jump ahead the game. Drop and stun hoawrd on turn 4, and then you have 6 resources on 5. Drop Howard and a 4 drop, and then stun hoard to boost the resources to 8 by turn 6. Drop Howard and an 8 drop, and that gives you a big advatage, cuase i imagine you would be running 10 drops with the style of the deck.

You lose the game at the beginning of the recovery phase.
KO Boiler Demon for suggesting this.

Oh come now. You could you not dig the Duck? Howard is one of Marvel's coolest characters. :laugh:
