Can anyone pls explain to me what is 'configure port forwarding on router'?

Thx, I'm told that this can solve my problem but I have no idea how.

You'll need to go to the website for the manufacturer of your router and lookup the instructions for your specific model.

Some manuals call it "virtual server".
