Advanced Recon says:
" Play Advanced Recon only during your first attack this turn.
If a character you control would cause breakthrough this attack, you gain twice that much endurance instead."
So if you team attack a player directly, and you use Advanced Recon, do I gain twice the endurance of the total breakthrough that the characters deal? I'm wondering because it doesn't say "target character", it only says "a character."
602.8c All endurance loss caused by direct attacks is considered breakthrough endurance loss. Effects or modifiers looking for a breakthrough endurance loss value will use each attacker's ATK separately.
I also have another question about this card. If you play more than one Advanced Recon during an attack, do you get both of their effects? I don't think you can because the life gain replaces the breakthrough, but I'm just wondering.
It's the same as if you had 2 Lost Cities. The replacement can only happen once, and Advanced Recon replaces the breakthrough. Two would be pointless, since the second would have nothing to replace.
But gaining 4x as much life would be awesome, wouldn't it?
