Now that all of the MK hypothesizing is out of the way, I'd like to target the next VS release:

The Batman Starter (supposedly) on tap for March.

Now, I haven't even seen it solicited yet ... so it may not make its March target date, but we're supposedly going to get it before we get GLC.

So ... what are we going to get? Here are some options:

1) The same set -- GK/AI
I doubt this since the set is still readily available.

2) The same set, only with a few movie photo cards as variants.
A slim possiblity, but one of the 'selling points' of UDE's Batman Begins movie cards are the VS variants.

3) Same GK set, but a League of Assassins deck as well (still with DOR cards, though)
Far more likely, since Ra's al Ghul is one of Batman's antagonists in the movie.

and my personal hope ...

4) a GK/LOA Set, with a few new cards from GLC.
Throw in a new Batman with concealed and I'd be very very happy.

Any other thoughts?

I'd like to see GK/LOA, mainly because I prefer LOA over the Inmates. I doubt we'll see some new promos, but extended art/alternate art is always a possibility for some of our favorite cards.

As much as I like new DC cards, I can't stand the thought of two or three Batman cards being ahead of everything everything else in the set numbering.

But I guess I'm just being picky. :ermm:

I wouldn't mind a new Batman thrown in as "DOR-166".

I could use some more Gothem Knights... Concealed Batman is a must. With 220 additional Marvel cards, DC needs some more love.

a concealed batman would be kinda cool, but i never really pay attention to starters anyway :sleep:

Upper Deck seems to dislike locking themselves like that.

Well I didn't say that Upper Deck wouldn't mind throwing it in.

A new 7 drop Batman,pleeeaase!!!!


....or a six drop with a boost.

I love Gotham Knights,I just don't like being dependent on a draw deck.

GK already has a 6 drop with boost.

Thats wat i was gunna say.

They also already have a 7 drop Batman.

I've always felt that two versions of the same character character with the same cost and the same team is just too redundant.

I hope they dont do that for Team Superman, Alternate Superman drops at 6 and 8 are wanted. 8 drop supes is just... 8 drops shouldnt have cosmic.

Anyway, 7 drop batman isnt exactly playable outside Cosmic Cops.

Superman and Batman have plenty of allies who haven't been made yet. If the teams need new drops in those spots, they should be occupied by a character who isn't already there.
