I have a quick question I wasnt sure on. My friend used a TT/FF deck. He attacked with 4 drop Wolverine and I blocked with my 4 drop Gambit.

During the attack he played CR and readied Wolverine he then exhausted Wolverine and gave Arsenal a +2 atk and then proceded to stun my 3 drop Wolverine. Then the attack resolved on Gambit and he was stunned. I said NO to that.

Does his attack with his Wolverine still happen? The attack never resolved. CR reads READY ANY NUMBER OF FF CHARACTERS YOU CONTROL. THOSE CHARACTERS CANNOT ATTACK THIS TURN. When he used CR I said to him that his Wolverine doesnt attack now because the attack never resolved and when he played CR his readied FF character CANNOT ATTACK THIS TURN.

Was I right or wrong.

You're correct that after a character has been readied by Cosmic Radiation, they cannot attack. That being said, Wolverine did not attack after he was readied. He had already attacked and was then attacking. Once an attack has been declared legal and attackers have exhausted nothing can make the attack illegal.

In conclusion, Gambit still stuns from the attack.

To reiterate ironicmonkey's point, once you enter attack sub-step, nothing can make the attack illegal.

The important thing in this situation that seems to confuse most people is that readying a character durning an attack does not remove that character from the attack. Otherwise, the Cosmic Radiation, Team Tactics trick would be a wash.

Easy way to look at it, is think of this as diffrent possible character states. Inorder to attack you have to be able to turn the card sideways. Nothing says it has to stay that way once you've declared the attack.
