Im wondering if it would be possible to play Plazm boosted, and then in response to her effect, use X-statix Cafe, to gain the endurance.

Since effects are independent of there source i dont see a problem with that, but then her effect only happens once it comes into play..
so any light on this would be great.

I assume you mean X-Statix HQ. Yes, this would be legal. You chain to the effect of Plazm. Plazm is KO'd before returning to the hand (and so doesn't return to the hand), but you get the END and the draw/discard.
