whene card like Psychoville or Shadow Step says : moove to visible area where in the visibile area the caracter mooves? ina new colon in front row protecting a carac.? solo front row. ? etc?
the question is where do i put the caracter once i've mooved it from the hidden to the visible area?
When you move a character, you can move it to any open position you like. It doesn't matter if you're moving within an area or between areas, you move to open positions.
If my opponent tries to attack me directly and I move one of my characters to the visible area does that negate the attack or switch the attacker onto my defender?
If you do it during attack declaration (before the attacker exhausts), the attack is illegal and does not occur.
If you do it during the attack (after the attacker exhausts), the attack cannot be made illegal and goes through as normal.
It's the same as if you were to move a character in front of a support row defender; once the attacker exhausts, it is too late to make the attack illegal.
so then when an attack is declared legal and the character exhausts and In response after my opponont passes I pay three endurance move my matt murdock to the hidden area get the extra attack and the attack shall still follow through?
However If the attack has only been declared and the charecter has not exhausted i can move and the declaration of the attack is illegal.
An attack cannot be canceled once a character is an attacker. It must follow through to resolution.
Direct attacks require there to be no visible non-stunned characters on the field. If, during the proposal of the attack, a non-stunned character shows up on the field (regardless of how), a direct attack is legal.
After an attack is legal, however, because it cannot be cancelled, the direct attack will still continue.
It is the same general idea as moving someone in front of a proposed attack against a support row character. If it is done during the proposal, the game sees the attack not being legal. If the proposed attacker is an attacker (exhausted, etc.), then it is too late to try to 'block'.
so u can make no "surprise" like, opponent wants to attack u and he says i dirrecte attack and he exhauste his caracter then i say wait a moment and play my psycocille passe my hidden caract to the visible area... so what happend? my opponent exhauste his carct so the attack is leagale?( i hade this case during a pcq and been told its to late for me to moove and cancel the attack)
BTW, oojesusoo, many players will exhaust their characters to attack without actually declaring their intent to attack first. In that case you are allowed to back up and tell them "when you declare your intent to attack directly, I'll move my character to the visible area" and make the attack illegal.
OK First lets clear this up. Your opponent must propose the attack then pass if you pass the attack becomes legal and the charter exausts. IF you don't pass and you play some thing the charcter can't exaust yet. If the effects you play would make it so your opponent would no longer be legaly able to attack what hes declareing to attack then the attack is illegal and the proposed attacker DOES NOT exaust.
