i would rise this question toTHE JUDGE OF VS SYSTEM clarrify and answer some question that has been causing some arguement and misunderstanding.the question is this....


1) during combat phase i used rogue:pa ability by targetting puppet master abilty and exhaust her.then my opponent attacked my rogue:power absorption and in respond to his attacked i flip OUTBACK STRONGHOLD and exhaust wolverine.WHEN I PLAY CHLIDREN OF THE ATOM TO RECOVER ROGUE:PA.IS ROGUE:PA READY OR NOT.

2) my opponent has "STATE OF THE UNION" in his resources and during my attacked phase i attacked his ATOMIC SKULL and become stunned.SO, HE HAS ONE STUNED CHARACTER IN PLAY.CAN I TARGET HIS STATE OF THE UNION ONGOING PLOT TWIST itself BY CASTING HAVE A BLAST .??

3) if i activate JEAN GREY:PHOENIX FORCE and returned all character in thier owners hand.DO I INCLUDE MY CONCELLED CHARACTER IN PLAY BY RETURNING ALL OR NOT.?OR EVEN MY OPPONENTS CONCELLED CHARACTER.DO THEY RETURNED A CONCELLED CHARACTER.

4) my opponent has concelled character in play.when i cast PLAYTIME. CAN I TARGET HIS CONCELLED CHARACTER TO MOVE HIM IN DIFFERENT POSITION.?BY MOVING HIM IN SUPPORT ROW?


5) my opponent has dr.doom (8cc)in play then equipt with power compressor.he attacked one of character.then he play press the attack attacked another my character.he target press the attacked in his ko'ed pile.in responds to his declaration i flip phantom zone by removing press the attacked to his ko'ed pile.CAN I TARGET HIS PRESS THE ATTACKED IN HIS KO'ED PILE BY REMOVING IT USING PHANTOM ZONE.DO I TARGET ANOTHER CARD IN HIS KO'ED PILE.?

1) What do u mean in respond to his attack? If he attacks Rogue, and during the attack substep, you flip Outback Stronghold, Rogue has not been stunned so she is not a legal target.

I would assume this is done after the attack is over and Rogue is stunned. In that case, if you use Outback Stronghold and COTA targetting Rogue in the combat phase, then Rogue will recover and ready.

2) If he controls only stunned characters, then you can target State of the Union with Have a Blast.

3) Jean Grey returns all chars to hand, even concealed characters controlled by you and your opponent.

4) Your opponent chooses where to move the targeted character with Playtime, not you. He can move it anywhere he wants, be it front row or support row. But yes, you can target his concealed character with Play Time.

5) I am not understanding this situation. Press the Attack is in his KO'd pile so it is obviously a legal target.

He is referring to Doom's (8) ability to return a plot twist to his controller's hand when he attacks.


Angel,

Doom's ability goes on the chain when he attacks. It does not choose which Plot Twist to retrive until it resolves (it does not target).

You could flip and use Phantom Zone before Doom's ability resolves, but when Doom's ability resolves he will get to take a plot twist out of the KOed pile (assuming there is still one there, after PZ removes PTA).
