And Cyclops: Slim's effect does work, so all XMen would get +2/+2.

Team attacking doesn't cause breakthrough only when the team attack is directed at a character.

Believing otherwise is a common misconception, brought about by the somewhat ambiguous explanation in the starters as well as the issue of Teen Titans, Go! putting people into that mindset.
