Hey could someone tell me how this works? If I have the 6 drop Sinestro that says that if an opponent stuns any other character besides Sinestro that character also gets stunned and they are using a Battle of Wills which states that an attacker with higher willpower then defender cannot be stunned... what happens? What if the character itself says it can't be stunned? Thanks.

the attacking character will not be stunned if an effect states he can not be stunned

Truw, but this is technically different.

Sinestro's effect will not trigger (most of the time) until attack resolution, where there is no priority (sinestro's effect must go on the chain at a time of priority).

So sinestro's effect will go on the next time there is priority (after the attack has concluded).

There are no attackers or defenders at this point so, battle of wills will not affect this scenario, and the FORMER attacker will get stuned.

Shy is correct of Battle of wills says target attacker with will power higher etc cannot be stunned. So this character can not be stunned during the attack. After the attack concludes if he stunned the defender sinestro's power goes on the chain and since the character is clearly no longer attacking Battle of wills is gone and then the character gets stunned.
