Okay, after looking at the Metagame breakdown of PC-NY Day 1, it's clear to see that Curve Sentinels is clearly dominating the scene.
So, I ask you fine people: Is an enviornment change needed? If so, how should it be done? If not, why not?
Because, as we all know, a diverse deck environment is a good deck enviornment.
Sorry for being dumb, but what's SNO?
Maybe a new topic on game abbreviations is needed. You know, to help out new people so they stop asking 'what's that mean?'
They probably will errata based on the new Flying Kick in the starters. Also, it'll help along with the teams in GLC, and take out some of the power out of Curve Sentinels. Errata is one way of forcing a metagame shift...
There already is a metagame shift happening before our eyes. Although CS is being played in high numbers, new inovative decks like Xavier's Dream and Dr. Light Abuse are popping up, which will eventually win something big and shift the metagame.
Yes the environment needs to change. 6 Curve sents in the top 8 is out of control, however i don't believe an errata on SNO is needed. If everyone remembers Common Enemy was top of the nest above titans and Brotherhood before Curve Sents came out. It was a progression of ideas, and it just needs to happen again.
Everyone has to keep making great original ideas and it will change. New School and Xavier's Dream are good examples. And BillDoor is absolutly right.
