ok if you want to play in the 10k in philly do you have to buy a badge to get into wizard's world? if so is there gonna be an additional cost to play in the 10k then? what i am asking how much will the total cost be to play in the 10k. if anyone could answer this question i would apprieciate it thanks

There's always tournaments at the Wizard World... VS, Heroclix, even Pokemon. I think both Wizards of the Coast and UDE might have booths at WW.

so if i want to play in this 10k it's gonna run me like $50??

$25 for a 1 day pass so it's gonna cost you $50 ($25 to play in the 10K) if you don't make day 2. It's $45 for a weekend pass

well if i make day 2 i won't care since i would have one a few hundred atleast

A couple of questions:

How does one qualify for Day 2?

Is Day 2 a different format? Or is it just the top 8?

I know you would have to drop another $25 for a WizardWorld pass, but would you have to pay another $25 for the 10k to play in Day 2?

day 2 is the top 8 and you only pay once to play in the 10k.... but you'd have to drop another $25 for a day pass which doesn't matter since you've already won a few hundred for t8

They really should change this...I know a lot of people who want to go but can't afford/don't want to put up the additional $25 for WW. Think about it: $50 to play in a $10K where you're not guarenteed anything.

I know it's a little late, but if you had gone to the $10,000 Championship page (www.ude.com/10k), and then followed the links to the Philadelphia tournament, you would have seen that it was only $10 to enter the tournament, plus the price of the convention badge.

Also, we make sure the top 8 have access to the tournament area on Sunday with no additional cost.

Just a hint - in the future make sure to actually check the web page. :)
