Well, there is another thread about this, but its life is going off subject a little
So, Im starting another one to freshen things up and to show UDE that we are very interested in seeing a Marvel or DC spoof set.

All who are interested in a spoof set like "Unhinged" for magic please reply.

I am sure that there will be something like that in the future, but I think that there are some characters and teams that the fans want given their due, first.

When they finally do, there could be homage to some of the more rediculous scenarios in the comic world. one great example was when Chuck somehow created a "mental forcefield" to protect himself during a potentially fatal carcrash. Another is the uber-contrived pheonix rising series. The all-time favorite has to be Spider-man beating Juggernaut. JUGGS doesn't get beat, he gets diverted at best. But then again, I am a purist.

At the end of each turn, put a Spider-Clone counter on Maximum Clonage for each character named Spider-Man or Scarlet Spider you control. When there are 10 Clone counters on Maximum Clonage, KO Maximum Clonage, and all characters named Scarlet Spider and all but one character named Spider-man.

There's a ton of other stuff from other comics ... those were the ones that came to my head first.

Anything that can make fun of horrible retcons like Rebirth [it wasn't me, it was this yellow monster we just made up] ... or the Clone Saga where they just changed the writing team so often no one new what was REALLY going on ... the horrible 'money grabs' ...

I love the idea of a "what-if" for marvel and an "else-worlds" for DC

Spideysean- That example you gave would fit in a normal set. If there were going to be spoof cards like "Unhinged" in Magic, then the effects would be more wacky like my example I gave just before your post

This set would need Peter Porker The Spider-Ham and I think he fought Ducktor Doom.

The two What If? #34 are full of chartacters for this.

you could bring exiles into this as well ... blink and mimic would be HUGE characters


in fact they should seriously consider an Exiles faction ... I mean if the lame ass x-statix can get thier own faction, why cant a real quality book like exiles get one.

A "what-if" set would be right up my alley. I love my Marvel Metal card of Rogue holding Thor's hammer. That should be the first plot twist.

This cards are way too broken to be played in VS.:grin:

Thats why they would be only for fun, And they can also have special tournaments for these cards
