Danny Mandel's mentioned a few times that they always order about 20% more art for a set than they end up using. Some of the excess art gets used in later sets, the rest just gets shoved into a folder somewhere.

So, we may see this in a future set... or we may not.

I believe I've seen that art before.... not to troll or anything.

I have it on pretty good authority that card art was commissioned for the original Marvel game (back before it was called Vs.) You'll notice the other two pictures there were from the Marvel Origins set, showing the age of the picture in question. Hopefully it'll come out in a future expansion. Personally, I'm hoping it'll be in the X-Men starter that's rumored to be released to coincide with X-3.

I'm a pretty big comic geek and i've NEVER in my life heard of anyone named Xorn.

I just now had to look it up at marveldirectory.com. Maybe the reason why he was scrapped. Maybe if an Age of Apocolypse comes out somewhere down the line she may make the cut.

Unfortunately, Xorn might end up being confusing, because their was apparently 3 guys running around with the name...one of them being Magneto.

No, it was ALWAYS Magneto.

Well it could be a Double Loyalty X-Men/Botherhood card of they decide to ever release it.

Magneto was thought to be dead. But of course when in the comic book world is that ever the real case. He wore the mask/helmet so that Charles and white queen could not mess with his head and find out who is was. I got back in for a few months when I found this out. I should be shot I live across the street from my comic book store and have not been in there in close to a year.

imho talking about The Burial of Grant Morrison is like talking about religion or politics at a dinner party. i feel and always will that in that case marvel commissioned citizen kane then had it buried to make another austin powers movie.

Xorn supposedly had healing powers...he unparalyzed charles but unknown to everyone it was actually magneto who held together his spine with pieces of metal magnetized...eventually he took some sort of drug that upped his powers and he destroyed a lot of new york killed many citizens before finally have his head lopped off by wolverine

I'm baffled as to how anyone made of metal can possibly pose a threat to Magneto. Seriously, if I was Wolverine and I heard there was a guy around getting called the Master of Magnetism I'd be heading for the hills, healing factor or no. Why doesn't Magneto just pick up Wolverine and throw him into Space? Don't tell me he can't because he built freaking Asteroid M for crying out loud.

actually magneto did rip out wolverines skeleton and he grew it back with the healing factor except it was bone instead of adamantium

xorn is actually a really cool character (the one who is not magneto) he ahs a black hole for a face and can suck anything into it and one time his mask broke so havok abd to constanly pump energy into him so he would not kill every one until they found a new mask then when juggernaut was part of the x-men a group of brotherhood characters attacked the mansion while the man x-men were out and xorn ended up sucking them all into his face including black tom cassidy who was a wierd mutated tree that could hold himself into the ground but juggernaut had to sacrifice himself to do it though then xorn left to find inner peace or soemthing like inner peace

thats what the card finishing move is all about magneto thinking he took out wolverine because of his skeleton but actually wolverine had the claws the whole time but weapon x just incased them with adamantium
