it's the Manhunter Killer™. that one card totally wrecks blue faced guys. the deck which fears it the least, i'd have to say, is the TS/NG superman blue abuse build. i don't think chopping block really does anything to hurt that deck whatsoever. the thing is, because of kyle rayner, everyone is going to run at least one chopper for sure, and some enterprising individuals may run the whole suite. the end result is that swarm manhunters is initially going to turn out in very small numbers, and ooh, hmm,... 40% of decks are gonna run equipment destruction.
Banished can't be used since I think it specifies unequipped.
All other move to hidden areas would work, but even then, other then Banished you'd have to wait till 7, and fi you've been blocked all game long, your going to have a problem.

Heh. I guess my sarcasm needs to be more thinly veiled.
No, there aren't any other equipment removal cards in the format. The presence of Chopping Block (and Sweeping Up) just irritates me because it makes an entire team essentially unplayable (that would be the Manhunters).

Luckily for the Manhunters they have Manhunters are a Myth.
Since we seem to agree then, what do we think about it?
Personally, I love the flavor of it. First Hounds now this... it pays to get one of the characters on the opposing faction out of the fray. Perfect for our game.
The flavor of Xallarap/AGL with it is even better.
