Are card that are holographic "unique"? Or does that same card have a "non-holo" version?

Foil cards in packs have a non-foil card available in packs too.

Some foil cards are unique (such as the exclusive Alex Ross artwork UDE Employee card), and some cards are "extended art" and are available at tournys, but ALL cards in VS have a normal card available in packs.

So in other words:

220 cards in a set.
220 foils of each card.

And certain cards available as extended arts available at tournaments.

And certain alternate art cards available in other ways (UDE Employee, Marvel Legends Toys).

All cards have "holo" and non "holo" versions. Tho most folks call 'em "foils" and don't ask me why but some people get off on playing all foil dec......

Acctually, the new starters, except for the new 7 drops batman Ra's al Ghul Mr Fantastic and Doom can not be found in foil anywhere and they will never be in any set (according to UDE)

Thats not all correct. In Germany the Batman Starter is not buyable in german, only in english. The german cards are in the german DGL/DSM boosters. These are booster where all DGL and DSM cards are in, in one big set. And the first card is always the starter card. But the foil card of the booster can be any card of the set, even the DBM cards. So they can be foil in there.
