What have you done in a game that you're proud of thinking of?

For me, it came on turn 9 of a 3-player game. It was my My Beloved against Antimatter/Crimelords and Green Lantern. Antimatter guy drops his Anti-Monitor, and everyone starts cursing and swearing. Antimatter guy has initiative, so he swings in with his crew, then starts with the big boy's effect.

"Alrighty, everyone lose eight resources or characters."

I checked over my board, desperate for a counter, when suddenly I remembered my 8-drop Ra's!

"That's a payment power!", I said with great glee. "You can't use payment powers!"

Antimatter guy grumbles, and Green Lantern guy emits a sigh of relief.

"Fine," says Antimatter Guy. "Anti-Monitor swings into Ra's."

Crap, I think. I stun him, and then he tries again:

"Alrighty, NOW everybody nukes eight resources or characters."

That's when my awesome maneuver occurred to me: I flipped up my last Lazarus Pit and named the stunned Ra's.

"I KO him eight times. Oh, whoops, he's still there."

Hooooo-boy, they did NOT like that one. :D

So, c'mon, I wanna hear stories about stuff you pulled off that made you grin like an idiot for thinking of it.

I'm playing CL/DE, and my friend is trying out his new LoA deck. It's turn 7, and I have Bullseye and Darkseid in front of Roscoe Sweeny and Lacuna with Sniper and Deadpool hidden. He's got the 5-drop Ubu, Sensei, and Lady Shiva, with 6 locations face up. Shiva KO's Bullseye. Then, he sends Ubu into Darkseid. Attack's legal, he plays nothing, and Ubu is stunned...

He then proceeds to play Dual Nature, replacing Ubu with Merlyn. He flips over the 7th location, provided by Sensei, and then KO's Darkseid.

Suffice it to say, when he dropped Ra's on turn 8, there was nothing I could do to come back from that.
