Question about card ratios for Marvel Origins boosters
I bought some boosters on ebay because my brother-in-law is into this game. I had bought a couple boosters from a store right before this and the card ratio in the packs was 10 commons, 3 uncommons, and 1 rare. All 4 packs from the store had this same ratio. Now the 16 I got on ebay were really weird. Some had 3-5 uncommons and 0-2 rares in each pack. Also occasionally a card or two would be upside down in the pack. Did Marvel Origins not have a set card ratio, or were these packs tampered with?
Marvel Origins was known for being a bit off in the card ratios. I've not gotten a pack without a rare, but often I would get one with two rares, this would occur when you got a foil rare and then you could end up with a regular rare in the normal rare spot. There is also talk that there are "god packs" out there where you will get five rares in a pack.
Yeppers... most of the time, if you got a foil rare in a MOR pack, there was a normal rare in there too. I pulled two Blindsideds from the same pack. :D
So you don't think I have anything to worry about a.k.a. being swindled? Some had no rares in them at all. I ended up with 14 rares total out of 16 packs.
Thats why I am asking. All of the other CCGs and TCGs I have played had a set card ratio. All the packs were the same, there werent upside down cards..etc. I am new to VS so I thought I better make sure this isnt normal before I start making accusations towards my seller (Who waited a week and a half after I sent payment to mail the cards).
Marvel Origins was abit off. All of the other sets are fine...excpet you can find weird packs(including packs with $100+ EA's in DC Orgiin Packs as well).
