The very gracious online tournament director suggested that someone start a thread for people who would be interested in online tourneys, not just major ones like the one going on right now, but weekend tourneys. I for one would like to say that I would be interested in doing short lil tourneys, just for the sake of playin (i.e. if there is prize support or not), so to help my ryan's job a lil easiey, anyone who is interested in future online tournaments, please post here....thanks all!

Sounds like there is lots of call for DCMA for the format of choice to run some side-tournaments in. As a question to you all though, would you prefer single day events or something more akin to what is currently being run (ie, over the span of multiple weeks).

To myself, I feel that maybe running some side events over a single weekend may be the best way to run it, but that is entirely dependant on what you all think.

Let me know and we'll see how fast we can get one of these started up.

If we could get a booster pack of prize support then i think that we should have one over a spa of one week to fit everyones schedule.

I still think that it should be Golden because u can use a DCMA in Golden along with every other deck.

format dosen`t matter to me. maby u can do like 2 rounds per week to speed it up a little bit faster.

I could probably swing some small prize support. Its not going to be anything special (ie, I can't do a box of cards on my salary ;)), but I will be able to provide at least a couple of packs to the winner for a side tournament I would run in these forums.

Now, as for the number of rounds per week and all those details, we'll take a look at those a bit more when I start taking a look at when my schedule will allow me to run it (since we have some 10k's coming up I'm planning on attending).

Keep up the suggestions and let me know if you guys might be into some even more "bizarre" formats such as two-headed mutant for the side events I can run.
