i need help on fixing up curve sentinals for the chicago 10k. there are so many cards that i want to put in the deck but there is little space. in the 10k you have to consider all the diffrent types of decks that can be played there. it will probably be weenies because overload is gone. i was thinking of playing this

2 apocalypse

4 reconstruction programs
4 cover fire ( or acrobatic i'm not sure what do you think ? )

some of the cards that i think will be good in the deck is mirco sentinals, search and destroy, blind sided, nasty surprise. i mean micro is good against weenies, and fantastic fun. search and destroy is good against roy harper and mutant nation, blid sided is good against fantastic fun and mirror matches. nasty is good against any other control deck match up. any comments or suggestions?

Well, what I would do is run Micro Sentinels over Total Anarchy. If you play Micro Sents, they affect higher cost characters, and don't hurt your own characters. In multiples they can be deadly. TA KO's your character as well, and can only work on dudes with a cost of 3 or less.
I think Nasty Surprise still deserves a spot in this deck. It is still a great card, with or without Overload.
And maybe I counted wrong....but the deck seems to only have 58 cards in it. Assuming it does, I would ditch 1 Genosha, 1 Flame Trap, and 3 Anarchy for 3 Micro Sents and 4 Nasty Surprise.
i would put in 2-4 more hounds and may be an xtra HAB. i like Micro it helps against army decks but flametrap/anarchy does that too so i wouldnt recoment micro, as for defense, keep all four coverfires and maybe 2 acros. and unless im wrong i think its 60

Unless its an army deck i NEVER have this many chars but since bastion deals with the pumps i think that its fine, just like BBH and its variants.
1 Hounds of Ahab is all you need. If you mulligan for Boliver or Hounds, you will more than likely get one in the first 10 cards.
Micro Sents is better against weenie decks. The reason is if you are playing, say Fantastic Fun, and you run Anarchy, what good does it do if they play A Child Named Valeria every turn? You'll just sit there while they burn you to cinders.
Micro also hits people of costs higher than 3. If you flip multiples on turn 5, you can effectively nuke their field just through Micro counters in the next 2 turns.
Acro was only in this deck because of SNO. Now that it's gone, Cover Fire is all you really need for DEF.

1. You dont only need 1 hounds you wont always hit boliver, even if you do mulligan for him hes not gonna come every time. i almost always mulligan for him but i still dont get him every time, and if you dont hit him you only have 1 hounds to draw, not gonna happen.
2. Yes i know that Micro sentinals hoses weenie decks but TA/FT is instant and works right there, maybe ill put it into consideration but it wont take down the hordes of army characters from attacking. Micro doesnt really work against curve either...
3. Since when did FFun get a pt tutor? do they magically draw their Child every turn, yes they work but no all the time and definatly not everyturn.

I have come to one conclusion, you can't play the deck.
how is this ? yeah micro does work better and nasty surprise is awesome too. should it be 4 nasty and 4 micro and cut the HaB or 3 micro and 3 nasty with 2 HaB

flame trap would be a total waste for it to be a child named valeria and fizzled if your playing against gk or something. also what do you guys do when you face mutant nation or CE
I run 3 Magneto and 2 Hounds and it still runs pretty damn good. I know you really wanna hit that Magneto turn 7, but the way I have it set up still works just fine.
I really like flame trap as it hurts many decks, i.e. TT, TNB, FFFun, GLEE, etc. I don't see it as a total loss as you can recon. program your guys back anywayz. just my .02 cents...
I found a problem. With no Search and Destroy and no Flame Trap, you have nothing to combat Teen Titans. I think that they are both good cards and you should make room for one or the other.:)
