Can you use front row characters to rienforce or is if just support row characters?

Also If an attacker decides not to play any plot twistsw with his attack can the defender play plot twists?

only support row characters can reiforce, and then only adjacent characters, unless a card specifically says otherwise (4 drop Dr. Oc., Harly Quin, ec.t.)

yes the defender can

*attack step*

-player with priorty (whoevers attact step it is) declares an attack

-defending player get to respond, maybe attempt to make the attack illegal, play effects, what not

-if the attack is declared legal, the attacker exhausts, then the player with priority gets to play effects or not

-once the player with priority passes, then the defending player gets to play effects or not.

-if the defending player plays an effect the player with priority gets a chance to respond, passing back to the defending player.

- once there are consecutive passes (neither player plays an effect) then you move to the attack wrap-up. where ATK and DEF are compared and characters with DEF lower than the others ATK are stunned (barring effects). no player has priority to play effects till the wrap-up is finished.
