Just a quick question about prison planet, as I just finished building a deck the basis of which revolves around the ruling I'm about to inquire on.
can you flip prison planet in the middle of a team attack without nulling the attack, and still get the additional attack?
The reason I ask is because you can play cards like crime and punishment (assuming your not playing M.K.) during an attack and not have it negated (otherwise there would have been no point to printing the second part). So I guess my question is whether or not the ruling for a location effect put on admidst a legal attack would be the same as the plot twist one.
While the answer may seem obvious, because it can be so powerful and because I plan on taking a deck involving it to gencon, I thought it was important to make sure.
Correct. This is akin to the Team Tactics trick some X-Men decks use and a good number of MMK cards. The 'cannot team attack' restriction cannot cancel an ongoing attack, no more than an attacker without range moving into the support row does. It will mean future attacks cannot be team attacks while it is around, but if you team attack and flip it after the attack is made legal, it'll help you out.
