I have been looking for some new cards for X-Men and they have been getting screwed lately. Yes we get Polaris but still, X-Men need some tutors or something. Sure they got Cerebro, and Children of The Atom, and Longshot and good cards like this, but when will it be time to get cards to mkae X-Men good, not just have them stall. I am planning on making a viable X-Men deck and taking out my Spider-Friends to make two seperate decks. But please, somebody tell me, dont you think we shouldhave a better Gambit and Cyclops?

The 2-drop Cyclops seems pretty badass. I don't know why he doesn't see more play...

oh he's good, no doubt about it. The reaon he doesn't see more play is because X-Men weenie/team attacking is just not good enough to be playable.

I think Gambit should get a new card. Gambit is one of the best X-Men. He deserves a rare card more than storm and emma Frost.

Gambit is not that powerful of a character.

Emma and Storm could both kick his butt.

Gambit is cool however, that doesnt make him a powerful character.

The card of him is already pretty much dead on with his character

I like gambit as much as the next man. But I guess that gambit is more a major player in his own story then in the X-men story.

Atleast that's how i've had it described to me.

Either way, I think the new X-men set should sort any problems out, drop wise.

Problem being that when a team is repeated, if i've learned anything about UDE. the new set will introduce whole new strategies for the teams, instead of bolstering the old one.

Of course I could be wrong, and they could jettison BH and the XM to the top.

also, gambit has his power limited, he's actually powerful enough to do... just about anything.

He charges objects with "Kinetic Energy" so it has to be something he carn throw, or have the person close enough that the explosion will hurt him.

He doesnt have the strenght to throw large objects, and Cards even charged can only do so much.

Other than that he is just a normal body.

He could charge Wolverine's skeleton and blow it out of his body, but they havent come to that story line yet.

Have you read the Ultimate X-men Gambit grabbed Wolverines claw and blew him up

I do remeember that now that you say it., but in the "classic universe" it hasnt happened yet

yeah there it hasn't happened but if Wolverine couldn't heal himself WOlverine woulb be screwed against Gambit

Wolverin would have been screwed a long time ago by being dead of age or after Magneto decided to have fun adn rip his metal out of his body...twice.

I seriously think that Gambit needs a new card. I saw a fantasy card of him where he comes in with card conuters. When you remove them they take the top card of their deck and put t in the KO'ed pile. Pay 3 endurance add a card counter on Gambit. Realy good card for his power. We need something like this. Not activate, ON TURN 4, to stun a 3 drop. I just dont find that viable. He should be activate stun target character with same cost as Gambit(i.e. 4)

Stunning a character of equal cost with ease without stunning yourself is too unfair. That's why he stuns 3 drops.
