I'm back again for the Justice League list! I know that this thread won't see much action for a little while yet, but I figured that I might as well set up the list now.

Alright, if you're not familiar with these lists, I basically match the cards up to their set numbers as the info is released. This makes for some nice speculation as the list begins to fill up (hmmm... who fits between #66 and #68?) and when the set is all revealed, makes a nice and tidy reference list for you. The rest I think are really 2nd tier characters. Vs tends to make Superman Superweak in VS, hope this time around the art is good and he can be really Super, perhaps like a dual affliation that is good for his team as well.

Batman is definitely a leader or fizzle effect.

Bring in Green Arrows and his Green Archers.

DC usually gets the short end of the stick, except for GL.

See now there's an assumption. I don't think he will act as directly as Garth or Amphibian did... for Garth it was more to reflect his magic, I thought. But that doesn't explain his friend on Squadron Supreme.

Wouldn't it be super if when they did a set like this, that combines members of many other teams (GK, GL, TS, and the future Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Arrow, etc.), they stated they had both JLA and their original team affiliations? It would be both new and legacy content at the same time...

I think the underwater characters get that as a cute way of representing "plumbing the depths". They find what drifts to the bottom. And I'd guess there is a good 90% chance Aquaman does the same thing.

More Aquaman fun:

Activate, Discard a card-> Opponent counts cards in hand. Places hand on top of his deck. Shuffles deck and draws number of cards equal to previous hand.

I actually think Aquaman could have 'Reveal and discard the top card of your deck-->If the revealed card is a character, Aquaman gets +X/+X, where X is that character's cost'.
He's summoning random sea life! And he has some synergy with Garth.

We might get 2 Aquamen. So many of our ideas could get used.

Why is it taking so Long for us to find out anything about this set we don't know all the teams, what the new mechanic is and we don't have any cards with a month to go till the sneak preview

Because Upper Deck hates you and wants you to suffer. I thought this would be obvious. And it's not all of they hate either. Just you, and you alone. You're ruining it for everybody.

We know the teams. Unles they plan on pulling a surprise fifth team out of nowehere.

CALM DOWN!!! I was just saying that of every set before this we have know a whole lot more because someone has said something. The sneak previews are a month away and all we know is the teams with no hint of a mechanic which is a little scary because we knew about evasion, cosmic, concealed, willpower, and reservist/leader at least a month and a half before the Sneak Preview. Normally they at least give a vague description name of the mechanic. I'm just surprised nobody from UDE has said anything in an interview (or has been allowed to).

Superman should definitely have his power level upped a bit.

We'll surely get a Watchtower, and maybe the JLA will be like a "best of all teams" team. Or a stronger version of Teen Titans (Pleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease!!!)
