There is a thread about the money rares in the new set. But what are the crap rare of the set, the cards you don't really want to pull when opening a booster? God knows we had plenty of these in the last set, I would like to identify them asap before deciding how many boxes I want to buy.

In my opinion, Plastic Man is one. And I would be happy if I don't get a Mageddon, ever.

Identity Crisis. I'm biased, though, because I already have three. lol

Mantis and Zatanna are the two I could not seem to stop pulling at the Prerelease I eneded up with a playset of both!

Mantis is okay. If you don't want Zatanna, however, I'll GLADLY trade Idenity Crisis for those. JLA / Brotherhood... 12/12? Yes, please! Teleport Tube's another so-so one. It's good for burning off defensive tricks and pulling out from an attack gone terribly wrong. If you know what you're doing, it shouldn't need to be played very often; it's going to help newer players a bit more.

I pulled more then a playset of Straight To The Grave, and with each pull my groan got louder and louder. It will probably be decent in constructed, but meh.

Dude, I'll definitely take those Zantanna's off your hands if you don't want them.

I'd think Identity Crisis, Zatanna, Straight to the Grave, and Captain Marvel wouldn't be crap, since they are/could be playable.

Oh, and I will take ANY Foil Power Girls from anyone who wants to get rid of theirs.

Captain Marvel? This is a good one for JLI KO resource deck.

I say that Anti-Matter rare is crap.

I reckon Straight to the Grave is one of the better rares in the set. There is no reason for a deck with Avalon not to run it.

No, it really isn't. There's lots of better effects that KO a resource for the JLI deck.

In any case, I'd play Captain Marvel in a curve deck. I'm really tempted to just play Curve JLI with Captain Marvel hitting off the curve simply so I can have an above average drop with no drawbacks that lets me yell out "SHAZAM!" at my opponent to finish the game.

Dare I say it? Flash it crap. He's a 6 drop with terrible stats and an ability that you need to build a deck around, but probably isn't worth it.
