I'd love to see Common Enemy win again. Maybe it'll ween some of the netdeckers in my area away from their purple robots?

Granted, if I had things my way, Skrulls would win, and the whole world would let out a low "WTF?" in unison. Think of the unity it would bring!

Yeah I'm hoping for a completely new deck to Top 8 during the PC. Like something that nobody's thought of before, possibly a seemingly random pile of cards.

As for the Russians, they don't have a chance against the Canadians. Well maybe they do but I gotta root for the canucks anyways, even though I'm in Texas now....it's just one of those things.

I think a completely new deck WILL top 8.

Mind you, I don't look at tourney results very often, and I have NO idea if they've followed this pattern since, but I remember someone (perhaps, Stu? or maybe En-Kur?) pointing out how there were 7 different decks in the top 8 at the 10k that Avengers won. I do NOT expect to see all Curve Sents make it to Day 2.

Here's my thought process: every deck will be doing its damnedest to tech against Curve Sents. My personal favorite anti-CS strategy? Hand hate, but that's for another day.

Smart people will also have a good game against Titans.

And MKKO.

And Kang City.

And Avengers.

At the VERY least, we're looking at 5 different decks that you should be able to tech against, and that's not even including the rush decks (TNB and GLEE) which, if you let your guard down for half a second, will consume you whole.

What does that leave? Why, I think we need a toolbox!

What are the two best two-team comboes for toolboxes of plot twists and/or equipments/locations? Common Enemy and My Beloved. :cool:

I expect to see a Common Enemy make it to Day 2 (and hopefully Day 3), and I would NOT be surprised to see a My Beloved deck that possibly includes some splash at drops to pump them up (Two-Face at 7? SCANDALOUS!) make it to at least Day 2.
