When I check online, most stores say they are sending out starting next week, but in some threads people claim to have bought some already. Does anyone know when the official release date is? I do understand there were pre-releases, so I'm not referring to that. Thanks!

The official Release date for JLA is the 21st from most places.

That all depends on luck of the draw and shipping issues as well.

The Collector Tins were released earlier then they were supposed to be as well in my area and we sold then to. 11/4/05 instead of the 18th as I had seen online in places

The store I buy my stuff at got their JLA Case in yesterday. So it depends on if you order directly through UDE or through a distributor or through some other means.

My guy usually gets it about a week early, but im not sure how he does it.

The release of the set usually is two weeks after the pre-release (2 and half cause stores get them on Wed). So this should be it shouldn't it? They should be out today.

I was asking because I wanted to make a venture to my local gaming shop over lunch (it's about 25 degrees here, wasted trips are NO good in MN in the winter). Decided to check it out, and they had the packs! Got five, and while I was excited to get 1 Kooey, didn't get a ton of JIL/JLA guys besides that. I may have to build a Secret Society deck because that's mainly what I pulled, plus the sweet Maxima of Almeraq that I'm adding to my revenge squad deck shortly. . .

Mine are in the mail from my distributor and should arrive Thursday...

mine just got here today, since no events ever occur near el paso in tx we are having a selaed tournament tomorrow with teh price being the EA's and the playmet from the sneak preview :p
