Interesting, but I don't think they should all have the same team. There should be a good team and a bad team, a few cross-over characters, and Mitsurugi should be no-team with an effect that lets him gain any other team.
Xavon: The only reason I didn't make them into two teams is because I believe that there wouldn't be enough, or at least, equal number of good and evil characters. Plus, as stated, some of the characters wouldn't have a team affiliation, like Mitsurugi or Voldo, which would hinder the number of characters per team. Finally, it would have taken me way longer to split them up and then create a team strategy/ synergy for multiple teams rather than sticking them into one.
Hydra: Yeah, she is a #####. Seung Mi-na is rather annoying too, especially her high-pitched screams.
we can tell which characters you are partial to, also, Xianghua is so much better than that. but you represented some of the characters very well, especially Taki. My only change would be to Yoshimitsu, th show his life gaining and his ability to damage you and your opponent.

Soul Edge Cost 1 less To Recruit on a character with edge. equipped character has Unblockable And Must Attack First during your attack step. At the Start of the Recovery Step, Lose 3 endurance

Man, Boiler Demon, this is so cool. I would like to offer a suggestion:
Nightmare's power should say NON STUNNED and READY character, other wise it is just crazy strong because you could just atack with your 6D then KO it for Nighmare's ability and make him a 21/21 on turn 7. That is just crazy.

Ahh, but you could use that in your setup. Multiple version of eaxh character would be a must. And whichever team had fewer characters could be part of their effect. Like a version of my experienced. When you replace a character, you move any +1/+1 counters from that cahracter to the new character, and add another one. And they could have special powers if they have a certain number of counters.
New Keyword:
Upgrade: (When you replace a character with the same name, move any counters from the replaced character to this character, and then put a +1 ATK/+1 DEF counter on this character)
------------------------
Name: Xianghua
Version; Finder of Calibur
Cost: 5
Team: Soul Warriors
Icons: None
ATK: 8
DEF: 10
Effect: Evasion
Upgrade
If Xianghua has two or more +1 ATK/+1 DEF counters, you do not lose endurance when she is stunned.
"I knew I wouldn't walk away from this fight without a scratch."
A few questions. Does the cost of the character double as a thershold cost as their edge effect? It must because imagine just discarding Night Terror on turn 5 and basically winning the game.
Also........
YOU FORGOT HWANG!
That's not cool.
edit: Can't have that.

Xavon: Nice keyword (I'll keep it in mind). Your Xianghua basically has invulnerability while she is a 10/12 or more, which I think it's easy to achieve nowadays. Aside from that, I just absolutely despise Xianghua. She's on the annoying list with Seung Mi-na and overall I just hate her.
Zyx Whitewind: No, the Edge can be played any time. Think Edge as a plot twist disguised as a character. On Night Terror I just forgot to add in the clause "Play only if you control 9 or more resources."
