I just bought a box of X-men and just about every pack the foil card was a misprint. Example..Half of a plot twist half of a character card. The only time the pack was fine was when the pack had a rare foil, so only 3 packs were fine :( .

Anyone from UDE reading this please make note. Printing is having some issues.

Anyone else buy the new stuff yet and come across this???

I haven't seen anything like that with this set.




But really, I'm just posting to mention that this thread has the most fitting title I've seen in some time.

Well, consider yourself lucky - most extreme printing errors tend to be worth more money than their normal versions . I wish I were so lucky :P !

At our store, WE got packs with no foil in them!

The Storm packs had no foils in them. The store owner called up UDE, and he's supposed to get something for them.

A local store here has a box ful of misprinted foils as well.

I bought three boxes and one box had 4 rares per pack
(No Uncommons) .

PS: after 144 rares i only got one Enemy of My Enemy, one SNIKT!. No Worthington Industries or Foil Emma Frost.

You'll do just fine. Trade the extras for whatever you want unless you need full playsets of all the rares you got.

With PCATL just around the corner I'd say you may have hit a rather fortuitous load.

I should be so lucky! My only hot box was DC origins.
That has made me buy at least two boxes of every set since. I almost wonder if UDE does this on purpose.

I opened some packs from the box Gdaybloke mentioned... they're about 80% of the "main" card with another card making up the top 20% portion. So for example, I have Jetstream, right up to underneath the Range symbol, then the card's done. But over his head, there's (I believe) Hellfire Merc's stats and flavor text. The foil is aligned right and is for the bottom card.

Here are the ones I have: (in order of: top little-bitty part/bottom main part)

Hellfire Merc/Jetstream
MXM171 (plot twist, no visible text)/Planet X
Havok/Drain Essence
Selene/Tarot
Angel Dust/Exodus

Are these worth anything? I put them into Toploaders (thanks Bloke!) as soon as I opened them... send me a PM if you want to trade for them, I'm looking for Hellfire rares.

Or hey, maybe they're worthless. :D

My box was the same way. All the Non rare foils are janked up.
