This is a fun deck, some say that the phoenix isnt worth it. But they are wrong. she is HUGE. Especially with shaw industries. any questions, i know you want to ask.
Donald Pierce is okay but Magneto is your 6 and Jetstream is your 5.
I don't run Donald Pierce (primarily), Army of One, Inner Circle, Massachusetts Academy, Shinobi Shaw or Raising Hell. You have arguably got a much more aggressive build than me, yet all of my wins come on turns 6 and 7. I don't understand why you think Dark Phoenix is any good, the game never goes past 7 with Sebastian Shaw.
The thing that I do not like about mono Hellfire builds is that their 4 drops tend to be pretty bad.
It might be worthwhile to splash some morlocks: the Evil Alliance team-up is useful for the "one visible" strategy even without another team, Erg can be really helpful if you want to stall against 7 (against a curve deck), and Sewer System is just plain nasty as it helps you with keeping only 1 character visible and by giving you the ability to attack both hidden and protected characters. Use it on Shaw on 7, and you pretty much guarantee game winning breakthrough, not to mention it is pretty useful in the mirror.
Also if you play Shaw on 7 I doubt that the Dark Phoenix is needed at all.
The deck is good but there is a few fudamental problems.
Too many 1 drops; with this kind of deck hellifre initiative is not needed u should always have at least 3 characters in the hidden area which is effecient. 2x Courtney Ross is perfect.
Roberto Da cCosta is ueless, Empath has much better effect for this deck, just think using army of one or join the club twice in one turn.
My theory on the 6 drops is that there r so many ways to go with them that I just use 1 of each(they are all awesome)
Ur 3 power cards r Join the Club, army of one, and deadly game; run 4 of each...also try to work Eminent domain in it helps stopping other playes strategies and i counld benefit you like stealing their Null Time Zone.
1. the 1 drops army are essential because of the fact that i can just throw them in the hidden area exausted.
2. The fact that i am NOT playing hellions has escaped all of you. i can't put hellions in the hidden area and i need as many characters in their as possible.
3. i am going to try to take out all the physical characters. i feel that it may work better that way.
4. I will take the pheonix out of the deck because the game doesnt go to 8 and i cant stall it.
ok Madlyne Pryor is not useless I mean she's very very good come one koing a 1 drop to give your whole team a swing line more or less is nothing to scoff at. Magneto is the better six drop selene is crap, and Donald is a good alternative depending on the deck *Yes I know selene gives you life but ummm big whoop she is a 12/9 so unless you pump her she'll prolly stun* the best 5 drop for the Deck is of course gonna be Shinobi Shaw, now your prolly gonna say A 14/14 is great why would i wanna play magneto..the awnser is to ruin there bored either you attack in with shinboi and don't stun then use mags to stun there five drop and they prolly won't have much else. Off ini he can win games, I playied this deck aginst X-stall which pleasently distracked my guys or tapped them using Prof X, Mimic, Rouge but I won but stunning Sabastion Shaw to stun there 6 drop there by causing there endurce total to be lower then my own. Masscuti Acadamy seems pretty useless to me I mean there are better reasons to ko a character and plus you want to keep bored advantage don't you? Courntey Ross is a waste of space she is more or less useless maybe she's ok in draft but honestly she is just taking up room that could be used for other things.

Yes my grammer and spelling structure is poor, But I am forced to point out to you that this is online and as long as it's readible I really don't care. By the way thats a great responce all to what i said.
The Hellfire Club can only put Concealed or Concealed-Optional characters in or out of the Hidden Area, which Hellions don't have. Thus, you have to insure that you have a Deadly Game for every turn you use one, which isn't guaranteed. If you don't have one, then you'll be forced to blow it up to maintain your strategy, which is a waste of a 4/5 drop.
While Academy is good, it doesn't really fit in this style. You'd rather keep your characters around, of if you're forced to get rid of one, Raising Hell is a better choice
Pawsie, I agree with many of the things u r saying but I beleive courtney ross is not a waste of space. She can save ur endurance and can keep the game going to another turn.
yeah, i took out the rosses and the academy and added some psi-links to only have mental and energy. i need sage on 2 to ensure drawing. shaw has been cut to one in order to put in fitzroy. and i dont like donald pierce because he is not a mutant. shaw and magnus do not like eachother. without some deadly games, they just dont work together.
