I really don't understand why the other threads were archived, but if I am doing something wrong I will gladly stop. If a mod wants to delete this and PM me about it, I would finally understand. Whatever, I know there are people who will look to see who won the EA Beatdown this morning, and here goes.
It was the most fun I have had at a tournament, maybe ever. Skinless was down from Augusta, he is easily the best person I have played against. Truly a great human being. BeastBoy123 was swinging for 50 with one character on turn four with Thunder Gang, a sick cross between Injustice Gang big hand and Thunder Tactics. (Makaveli won the Costa Mesa PCQ with it, the decklist is up in Premiere Events.) There was a Twisted Spider Stall deck that BeastBoy123 SHOULD HAVE NEVER shared, since it pwned my AGL in the final four (with my Q Field of course!). Then, in the final, immortaldragoon won an EA Beatdown with one-cost army characters... by somehow avoiding Puppet Master, Cardiac, Rogue or Gambit, Sunfire, Mimic... and winning with Tattooed Man! An underdog triumph for the ages.
1. I was very happy with third place, I didn't win with Tattooed Man. Even I am not that crazy.
2. The Barn Door idea came from Uno, and I was as shocked as anyone to see it win the Card of All Cards.
3. The Tattooed Man is obv just a last gasp option, so I would not focus on it too much. The deck wins without it. In fact, as we now see, the deck wins without alot of stuff. (Like Willworld!)

Im still upset to hear that it lost to AGL . Thats one match I made sure it would always beat, and I didnt have time to tell luke the final changes to the spider stall deck ( or solitare ) which was adding in 2 Capt Boomerangs. But im glad it made someone money.
Seriously how does AGL beat . mikado / puppet / cardiac / gambit or even rogue / sunfire / mimic / and the eventual Ghost Rider is needed .
Maybe he didnt know thats the only matchup where you dont mull for Puppet but Mikados or Cardiac .
anyways sounds like it was a good tournament . How many people where there anyways?
It was a great tournament, a little small... around 20.
The Twisted Spider Stall was deadly against me and my AGL, I'll tell you that. Brian Poole was playing it like clockwork. The only thing I can figure out? Shuffling skills. I guess Steven just cut to eight high drops in a row. Twice!
