so we now know that the card is either going to be a LoA, GK, or AI character.

so, let's brainstorm some ideas on what it could be from any of those teams!

What is it that is missing from the rosters of the teams?
GK has the following roster:

The only thing I would replace is the three drop or 2 drop. but in the long run, those drops aren't the difference maker.

We already know it's a League character.

EDIT: Now that we got that out of our system....

We have 4 choices of characters. I'd expect Nyssa to win, as she's possibly the most popular character there aside from Ra's (who isn't likely to be chosen as he has many versions already, including a great 4, 6 and 8).

I'd personally like her to be a 6 drop, though a 7 would be ok. I don't know how much control over cost we'll get, but that's the best place for her, game wise, to allow some deviation from Ra's and Lady Shiva on 6 and 7.

I think the League would benefit most from a 6 drop. I am in the camp of Starter 4-drop Ra's, and Sensei doesn't do much for me. I'm happy with all the other drops of the curve except that.

Arkham has decent drops along the cruve, it's their support cards that could use some help.

In general ... people would 'like' to see some kind of way to ensure hitting drops in AI, and there are some good 4-drops like the new Joker and new Poison [although with the 2-drop being so good, packing the 4-drop Poison, either one, may not be such a good idea].

I'd say a low drop 'fixer' type character [maybe Arkham himself ... one of the guys that runs the asylum, yet should be, or eventually becomes, an inmate himself would work as someone who 'searches out' the inmates ...]

There are tons of versions of Clayface that haven't been made yet ... and one of them could work in a 'Phat' capacity, acting as a character that is able to fit into any part of the curve. [i.e. a low drop that can boost into being a larger character]

As for League ... I could see them making Nyssya as a Leader character of some sort ... possibly also as a Reservist [considering she was an on again, off again member of the League until she off'ed her pops and took over]. Also, being a reservist helps out the theme by giving them a way to put locations into the row if they don't get a perfect draw.

As for Gotham Knights ... there's quite a few options. It would be cool to get a Harvey Dent character to fit his new 'heroic' persona OYL [but that's a bit too late]. I really want to see them make Jason Todd <> Red Hood as a Gotham Knights character because, whether Bats likes it or not, he's been mostly working to 'clean up Gotham' and done very little to specificly 'go after' Batman ...

Another option would be Ollie Queen <> Green Arrow who has helped out the Birds of Prey on occaision [it may have only been that one time though]

Nyssa is my vote, specifically, a 5 or 6 drop Nyssa that works like Azrael <> Batman in terms of part of her effect being 'you are considered to control Ra's Al Ghul' seeing as "The Demon's Head is dead! Long live the Demon's Head!" so to speak ...

So giving her reservist and/or leader ... plus the ability to be considered to control Ra's [maybe even allowing her to be reinforced by Mountain Stronghold].

Also, one thing to take advantage of would be her access to a 'better' lazarus pit which she can reuse. As such, her ability could tie in to making better use of the pits [perhaps change the KO effect to a replacement effect? As a leader effect ... it could apply to adjacent characters only, and she'd need to be unstunned at the time for it to work ...]

Why do we knnow that it's automatically league?

I now see that the 6 drops really do kinda' suck, but thier 3's could really use some love too.

well, from the descriptions, I can gather this from the choices:

Cain: an assassin, so probably KOing effect, but he is also apparently a father, that might have a subtle effect.
I would expect him to be a 3-5 drop.

Nyssa: more towards the wealth and power, so probavly location based, and also the hatred of ras'.1-3 drop possibly.

Ras': very fragile, may die soon, my guess a self saccing effect. 4-6 drop.

Shrike: looks equipment based, maybe "KO an equip to KO a character"? This one is hard to guess.

League needs a good 7 drop that's good on either inish. If they had that, they'd be a bit better.

Since nyssa doesn't die, I would expect her to have evasion. or some time of free recovery effect similar to the new lady lark.

I really can't decide...since the Ra's they have isn't the Ra's from the Legion storyline, he's out.

It doesn't really matter to me, then. They all good in my book.

ok so my vote automatically goes to david cain. He just fits so perfectly. He can be a 6 drop, and then league will have KO oriented guys all the way from 3rd turn (Hook) to 7th (Lady Shiva). We already have enough r'as, and shrike was probably thrown in there for lack of a 4th person (UDE you still have time to take it back and add a League affiliated Batman).

I like the idea of another Assassin related effect.

It's really either him or Nyssa in my book, as They can either use Good KO, or good Recov. and I think that is obviously the respective abilities of hte characters.

But Cain will probably have some hook, since they showed how he takes time and preperation to get his kills well

So we get to choose between a Batgirl villain, a Nightwing villain, yet another version of Ra's, and Nyssa.

Nyssa just gets my vote through the process of elimination.

I don't think that nyssa needs evasion, I think she have the new wolverines effect. anyways, I voted for Cain for 2 reasons:

1. He's a badass.

2. he goes with an already cool theme that is very popular in the league.
