In Magic, they have 5 colors. In VS we have 38 Teams. The vast variety to build a deck now-a-days is unbelievable. Does anybody think they should make sets with just Legacy content for a while? I think it would make everyone happy.
I really like the idea of a Legacy expansion! It would be perfect to give special attention to every team with like 5+ cards. The problem is that a Legacy expansion would be next to near impossible to play draft or sealed.

so i guess the x men set is near impossible to draft/sealed..,
To support legacy content to a greater degree, I would love to UDE drop the primary teams in a set to 3 and add in 3 secondary teams.
Based on MAV's primary teams and Kang as a secondary team, that would mean each primary team would receive an average of 27 character cards and 14 support cards. Three secondary teams could each get 14 characters and 8 support cards. That would still leave the regular legacy slots for the other teams.
As much as I like legacy content, I don't think sets should be devoted to only legacy at all. X-Men was something good, because it allowed people to revisit teams with new concepts that were introduced after the team originally came out. I think that it was great, however I also feel that it shouldn't go back to teams very often. X-Men needed a boost to get up into Tier 1, and they got that from the new set. I think that now other teams definitely need some retooling, however maybe , at the most, every other set do something like the X-Men set. That way people would still get their new teams and new characters could be introduced, and every so often, teams would get help.
Revisiting teams is going to become a staple for future sets. Crisis will be the last set to have 4 new teams in it. After that we'll likely be seeing at least 2 legacy teams per set. We already know that we'll see a revisiting of Darkseid and Teen Titans in the set after Crisis.
I like the idea of revisiting 2 teams, and adding two new ones (like the X-Men set). I think it would be great to do Doom and Fantastic Four in the Heralds of Galactus set.
I dunno. I feel like although the Xmen set used legacy TEAMS, it fell short on giving us legacy CONTENT. Alot of the content regarding the teams revolves around traits and abilities that are not apparent in their first releases so the interaction between the 2 different sets is fairly minimal. We have a bunch of different builds that perform well enough I guess, but nothing that strikes me as "Man, this just wins. I am so glad they gave me these new cards to put with my old ones". Don't get me wrong, I like the new set but to me its like "It was the best of times. It was the worst of times."
