1 Drops with the "Secret Identity" key.

When you replace an in play secret identity cheracter its replacement is 1 less.

I.E.

1 Drop Bruce Wayne.

I want to play 7 drop batman. If I can get my 1 drop to last to round 6... I can KO Bruce Wayne and replace with 7 Drop Batman.

It could almost be a release set DC - Identities or Marvel - Identities.

Not sure that it would work well with Golden as it my be too abuseable. Mabey they would have to stamp new versions of Batman with Secret Identity or something different to allow for only those to be replaceable.

Could do the same with Clark Kent/Superman, etc etc etc...

They could make something similar to Franklin Richards ...

For example:

Clark Kent
Version: Investigative Reporter
Team Superman
ATK: 3 DEF: 2
No Flight/No Range

Clark Kent comes into play exhausted.

If Clark Kent defends, return him to the bottom of your deck and search for a character named Superman, reveal him and put him in your hand.

Activate, Return Clark Kent to Hand -> Gain one resource point. You may only use this resource point to recruit a character named Superman.

"Just a second Lois, I'll be right back, I think I forgot something at the office ..."

The cheracter would have to be called Superman <> Clark Kent or something like that. Because in all honesty... you cant have Clark Kent and Superman in play at the same time... can you? =)

Or you could use just the bottom part and nagate the search and use a Location like this:

Discard a Secret Identity Cheracter --> Search your deck for a this characters secret identity.

Probably can be worded better...

Considering the fact that there are already ways to Clone Superman .... lol

Also, Superman has had several occaisions where he's had someone pose as Clark Kent [or vice versa].

Often using the assistance of Martian Manhunter or, while she was around, Matrix [aka the shapeshifting Supergirl] as a way to avoid people questioning his identity.

And during the Red/Blue saga both could turn into a very 'un'Super Clark Kent who was actually human [and since there was two of them ... well you get the picture].

Batman has had similar cases where there have been other people where the costume [although I don't know if it was done specifically to 'disprove' that Bruce was Bats, it was often either a temporary replacement, or a 'gambit' to trick the opponent like having Superman pose as Batman ...

But let's see what else I can think of:

Gain one resource point. That resource point can only be spent recruiting a character named Batman, or recruiting equipment.

"I'm sorry ladies, but I must be off to go buy something ... don't know what but it's probably expensive."

Well ... it could be a variation on the Costume Change as a location:

Activate, Discard a character card -> Search your deck for a character with the same name, but a different identity, reveal it and put it in your hand. (A character with no identity is considered to have a different identity than any character with an identity.)

"This looks like a job for ..."

The reminder text is there to say that, for example, you can discard a copy of Azrael to search for Azrael <> Batman [and vice versa].

You can also discard Dick Grayson <> Nightwing to search for Dick Grayson <> Robin and vice versa ...

The idea would be you'd create characters like:

Superman <> Clark Kent
Superman <> Gangbuster

Batman <> Bruce Wayne
Batman <> Matches Malone

And such as a way to better use the location.
