I have a blank white playmat I picked up recently, and I wanna draw & color something on it. I know there are some people out there who have done this themselves, so I need to know something:

What did you use to draw/color it? I wanna know whats permanent, and what WILL NOT rub off onto your hand, sleeves, etc.

Where do you get those? I've only seen them at PCLA when some random person was selling them to VS players, who were then getting the artists to draw something on it. Sorry, I don't remember what the artists was using.

I got mine at Gencon in Anaheim, and you can get them on ebay for about $10-$20. Just ebay "blank playmat" or "white playmat" or something similar. I saw them a few days ago, so they should still be there.

A guy here on VS Realms was running that marketing scheme a while back... I think its him.

Go to ebay and look under VS Playmat. It's like $7.99 + shipping.

Meh, I'd still hold out for the X-Men mat though.

Yeah, the X-Men mat does kick ***.

Our team has had them Airbrushed. You can use Permanent markers if you want to make the mats as well. We've also seen some people just use the Ink Jet transfers on them as well.

I would use stencils and spray cans and colored sharpies. Acrylic paint would work too, but unless you water it down it would build up a texture. If you water it too much it will just bleed. Although that would be cool too.
