I just came back from the scholarship event in Colorado Springs we had about 20 participants and I went 4-1 and won my age group with this decklist though the last match (which was my only loss) I never played because if I conceded the guy I was playing would also win his age group.

Game 1:Titans, he couldn't maintain board presence and he let the game go far longer then it should have, it got to 8 where I proceded to play Ghost Rider for the scoop.
Game 2:Curve, he hit a terrible hand no bastion on 6 but he did have Magneto on 7 and Apoc on 8 that kind of scared me but I had gained enough life and dealt enough Damage earlier to win me the game
Game 3:AGL, Oliver Queen was essential in this match getting rid of Chomin, he didn't have the most spectacular draws, but neither did I, luckily before he could reach the kill turn I had done enough to the face and Rained enough of his people to not allow him to maintain board control.
Game 4:Titans, I hit the God draw this game..I had everything I needed exactly when I needed it, I had the search available to get me every drop if I didn't just draw into it with Book or Willworld turn 8 came around and ghost rider came out..I had chopping blocked Garth on 5 and when 6 came around thanks to Roy with a double press he only had 34 resources going into 6 I dropped Sinestro, and I had the defensive pumps to make Sinestro survive anything he ended up stunning his own board trying to rid himself of Sinestro but when you have 5 other characters out it's going to be a +10 cover fire every time..he used his resources to quickly and ran out of gas at the end
Game 5: (see above)
So I walked away with 4 Savage Deckboxes,$1,000 scholarship,A cool plated gold Savage Scholarship Champion Medal thing,A T-Shirt,An EA Bastion and 12 Packs so it was a good day :)
My toughest matchup was Titans hands down, i'm not sure how I pulled those ones out but somehow I managed to since the GLOCK vs. Titans matchup is already in the Titans players favor even before we sit down

you know how you pulled it out abd draws and most people in scholarships stink unless you live in california where even the young guys are really good
Actually the way I had heard it, if you hadn't cheated your way through round 4 you wouldn't have won. I mean come on you set all your guys in the support row, your opponent then uses arguss to find and then recruit starfire, you then moved all your guys into the front row. Thanks to the help of the judge you slimed your way through. And from you final opponent, he was beating you so badly that game that you conceded, and no he didn't win his age group he got second. So if you are going to tell a tournie report, get your facts straight for the sake of the other people who will read this and think you are something. Congrats on the win, but just remember those who actually saw you play and know how it really went down.
I slimed my way through it..hardly..I went to go find guy with ring has chosen and I had not yet recruited him now to mention Judge wasn't even playing starfire in the freaking deck I don't know what the big damn deal was because all my guys had flight and range anyways and I never even said go so technically I still had the priority to formate so that was his bad call, and in that last match Mr.i'm better than everyone else Van Gundy had to do every last thing to give him the best chance if that was anyone else he wouldn't have been such a hard ass and it's fine you wanna be rules lawyer fine with me but why th hell does it matter if i discard before or after Ring has chosen I was gonna discard the same freaking thing anyways not to mention win or lose the last round I still would've won the thing reguardless thanks to Bryce who beat Van Gundy in 13 minutes in the first round anyways, every single game I won legit I don't cheat so if Van Gundy and his Mom wanna go back up to Denver and talk about how I cheated my way through it then tell them to go appeal it to UDE because they can talk to everyone else there and they'll tell you the same thing that I beat Ryan and I beat Keith and I beat Bryce and I beat Judge clear as crystal fair and square if he's sad he lost then boo-hoo but don't try and rub your loss off by calling me a cheater
Nick did not even say those things he just explained what happened, everyone who knows the rules took their opinions from there. And Judge was playing Starfire so don't lie about that. You know the decklists go to Metagame anyone can go find the truth. But it just proves you lied on here..you said you conceded and you did not. You were beat. You really dont have to be so immature its not that big of a deal. People lose all the time why lie? You have a bad attitutde being that you won the event.
Wow what a group of cryyyy babies ! This is some sad sack garbage. BOO HOOH ! Listen congratulations on winning. I like the GLock deck. I love when Titans players whine about using the rules to win.
Nick,Theresa,Chase
Listen, i'm sorry I know my head got big and I shouldn't have lied Nick had every right to do what he did in that final round and I shouldn't have gotten angry about it,that was my mistake he has every right to be strict about the rules when something like that is on the line that's exactly the way you should act it was by my own play mistake that I lost and I should have admitted to it I was being stupid and like I said my head got big and I hope that when I play up in Denver that you guys won't hold this over my head i'm sorry guys that was a disgrace to good sportsmanship and it won't happen again
