Apparently Jerry was caught during the PC and Mathew was found during the 10K.

we know about jerry adding the all too easy to his deck from a previous draft, what did matthew do?

I think it was for drawing extra cards. But is all 'drawing extra cards' penalties now gonna be cheating = 3 year penalties? That's a little harsh.
When players get suspended for 3 years, it should empower players to only draw 1 card at a time.

It would depend on how many extra cards he drew and if he tried to conceal that fact. Most instances of 'drawing extra cards' tend to be game losses. UDE must of had an investigation and decided that there was some sinister motive to him drawing those extra cards. I'm sure that they can appreciate that it could be done by accident sometimes.

from what I heard, It was not only because he drew extra cards, but because he had words with the judge during the investigation.

well if he drew by accident then had a few words with the judge i understand.

my understanding was that his opponent was doing a card count after every drawing. 1/2 way through the game he had an extra card. it wasn't by accident.

then he deserves to be banned .damm cheaters.

If you KNOW your opponent is counting your cards, why would you even ATTEMPT to get a freebie?

some people are really anal, I guess. Though it's not a bad idea against suspect players, to count cards, check endurance totals, etc. often

Because the guy was keeping his cards under the table or something...

Roy St Clair did it to me when I played him in a scholarship tournament (counting my cards every turn). It was a pain since I was using Child Lock too.
