We all know how broken Enemy of My Enemy is. Its definately the money card from the X-Men set.
My question is this:
Is Enemy of My Enemy too powerful?
Is this card going to alter the face of Golden Age?
Will this card ruin the game by allowing "tech" into the format by running "one of" characters?
I honestly don't know. Some have argued thats its cost of 3 can balance it out. I seem to disagree because I view turns 1-3 as set up turns, and then the true battle begins on 4 and up.
Now given, certain decks run a bit differently, like Squad or AGL, so purpose is to end it by 5.
Or, is this card a godsend to players everywhere? As it allows more options as far as teaming up goes?
Is it about time that UDE released a truely power card?
They already did. it was called Overload. It made the Sentinels the powerhouse of Vs. It was banned and we shall never speak of it again or the ghost of chrismas from the year 3000 will shoot you with a sock.
Enemy of my Enemy is a great card. The next set is supposed to replace super powered cards from MOR that are still seen in the newest decks.
Enemy of my Enemy is one of those cards I wish I had a full playset of just because of how versatile it is in any deck that teams up or runs more than 2 team affiliations.
Shoot I wouldn't be surprised it If goes for alot more than Null Time Zone and/or Savage Beatdown. It's so good, Id love it more If it was an uncommon instead of a rare.
It smoothes your deck curve and makes it alot more consistent regardless If you're teamed-up already or not.
So I take it there will be cards from Infinite Crisis that will replace MOR cards like Savage Beatdown, Cosmic Radiation, and Cover Fire? Sounds interesting, plus a nice way to freshen up the Silver Age format as well.

It already does cost more.
This was truly a great card. Team-ups are fun to run but not always very easy to do and this card helps.
I love how you can play this tutor in any two team deck. What i don't like about it is a tutor for any two team deck. It's too generic and the drawback is not a drawback at all. If it didn't say printed affliation then it could be quite decent since it would be a bad thing to team up.

I think High voltage, and some of the stall/control decks plus Squadron to a lesser extent show us that there needs to be some point when these people atleast need to team up.
Oh well, it's never a problem until it starts winning everything
