Okay, so today we saw Superman, Earth Two. My question is, how come in game/playing terms he is the same character as the Earth 1 Superman? You should be able to play both at the same time but you can't. I guess I'm missing something here, because I haven't really seen anybody else bring this up. Can anybody fill me in?

Well, the Superman preview itself mentioned that there will be cards enabling Earth 2 characters to fight alongside their Earth 1 versions, so the point's been partially addressed already.

In Superman's case, we happen to already have a few cards that make him non-unique, without even mentioning Crisis on Infinite Earths. They are two versions of the same person, I'm fine with it taking a bit of work to make them co-exist.

Remember they didn't actually exist together unless there was a Crisis on Infinite Earths/Infinite Crisis. Makes decent sense.

I bet they'll make more team up cards to team them up, like Infinite Crisis or Crisis on Multiple Earths or Earth-2 will do something like that.

I'm hoping for a location called Earth 2 that can search out characters with the Earth 2 version. that'd be sweet...

There will definately be a team up that teams up in versions. that'd be cool. instead of affiliations.

Cadmus Labs, Superman<>Red, Lookalike Squad all allow multiple characters named Superman with no restrictions on the version.

The Earth-2 Supes is just begging to be included in anything with a Superman theme. Add him to a Supes-curve deck and his ability goes nuts.
