So i'm sitting here looking at some random commons and ran across unus. I then think, wow, this card is pretty bad yet it was in a pc t8 decklist. In that same pc David Fielder used Catwoman 4 drop, but she's at least better than unus.

This leads me to the question, what is the worst card ever in a pc t8 thus far?

7 drop Doc Ock seems pretty bad.

Unus, The Humilator. No doubt.

Shadowcat, Pride of the X-Men or 3 Professor X, Charles Xavier

Most of the cards you've mentioned have their uses. A card like Prof X was good in control battles, where cards in hand mattered quite a bit. Copy ProfX or Emma a few times and you'll see what I mean.

My vote for worst characters:

4 drop Catwoman (Fielder, LA)
3 drop Shadowcat (DeRosa, LA)
5 drop Punisher (Hunstad, Amsterdam)
5 drop Supergirl (Jacob, Indy2)

these cards do practically nothing. I don't think I've ever been happy about playing any of these in my limited decks.

Terrible plot twists are tougher, as most of them actually do something. Bad characters at least provide a warm body.

Bad plot twists:
Hell's Fury (Kolkott, Amsterdam)
Framistat (Richardson, Atl)
Shrink (Rowland, Atl)

Maybe I should start playing terrible cards, maybe then I can t8 PCs again.

First, framistat isn't a plot twist.

Second, you have to consider these were all played during modern formats, where card selection is limited.

Third, if you had played with either framistat or shrink, you would realize the value they had further enabling very specifically focused decks in achieving the desired results.

Not really, he's basically 7 drop Sub-Mariner with a Catcher's Mitt.

Doesn't 3 drop Shadowcat let you double Puppet Master? Or is her effect team stamped?

Third, we found mutant massacre to be more conductive to winning, not shrink. Image inducer being way better than farmistat.

Frankie ray, the 21/21 on turn 9 one drop.

Basically the 1 drop from the FF starter with no text is better than this card, and it was in the rigged elections deck at PC 1.
Also at PC 1, was wolverine: berserker rage, which is pretty horrible considering everything was curve or killed much earlyer than wolvie was going to have anything to say about it.

How is a 1 drop with no text better than a 1 drop with ANY non-detrimental text?

And, of course, she was just another warm body. Her text is irrelevant for that deck type. The FF starter card you mention (which is what exactly) would have done the job just as well.

Weren't Titans decks two of the top four after day 1 and TNB decks the most played at that PC?

You sure it isn't Adam Bernstein? I mean, that Adam Prosak is really good. But Bernstein is just some stick. :laugh:

I suppose that there are several bad cards if you judge them "in a vacuum" (to use the proper Prosak vernacular). However, I think the reason that all of these cards were in Top 8 decks is that they suited some greater purpose within the deck.

Well... every card except for Dazzler, Allison Blaire that is. She really does just suck!
